Here is a kitchen remodel we did in northern Oxnard for a defense contractor for the army. What you don’t see in these pictures is some outdated carpet and a pony wall that once seperated the kitchen/dining area from the livingroom. We removed this wall to give the room a more open feel, and to make it appear bigger. At first David wanted to go with Hickory cabinets, brown tile, brown backsplash, and tan walls. I advised him that his kitchen was going to be a huge brown blob, and that he should go with some accents to help his cabinets pop. In the end we settled on grey walls and a brown/grey natural stone backsplash. Along with the framed in bench, wet bar, hallway cabinets, and recessed can lights this job came out great.
