Here is a deck we did out of Trex composite decking in Ventura CA. We talked the owner into doing the underlaying framing in pressure treated, and even treating the lumber for the railings. In the end it came out fantastic and with the added touch to help with the longevity, this deck should last 30 years. Take the extra step, and spend the little extra for the quality that will last a lifetime
