Hi there friends and followers! We have been on this 974 sq ft balcony for the last few weeks, we are finishing up laying tile then we will start grouting Monday. This job started as a termite & wood rot repair project. Once we started demo of the wood from underneath balcony, we found that there was a little more wood rot than we anticipated. With our Buildertrend software, we are able to document and take pictures of each phase of our job, this let’s the owner see what is being accomplished each day and if they have any questions we can address them quickly. Every one of our employees are required to take pictures and do a daily log. This is a free service to our customers, especially when they do not live at the project site. Give our office a care and see how we can help you and your next project! (805) 639-8930
Good afternoon! Next phase of our balcony is installing the under layment (Orange Schluter) prior to setting our tile. This will provide reliable waterproofing in exterior applications. Its polyethylene composition protects the substrate from moisture penetration which is particularly important in today’s building environment where most substrates are moisture sensitive. (Like outdoors)
We are now demoing all the old tile on top of balcony. I am excited to post completion pictures! Keep in touch folks.
