We updated this kitchen for a great couple who moved from Missouri to the beautiful beach-side city of Carpinteria. Upon opening up the walls to run electrical and move the gas lines and plumbing, we found some major electrical and framing code violations. We rewired and reframed the vaulted ceilings to fix the issues. At first, our clients wanted to go with Oak false beams but we found rustic walnut and we just had to show them. They saw it and fell in love. As you can see, it was a great addition to the vaulted ceiling and kitchen as a whole.
